Images from Konami event in Japan reveal company at work on new iteration in action franchise under the working title "Enders Project."
A new Zone of the Enders game was announced today during a Konami special event in Japan, according to tweets from an animator in attendance (via Kotaku). The game is currently in development under the working title "Enders Project."
Other details on the project are not available, and as of press time, Konami had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment.
No release date for the new Zone of the Enders project was revealed, but gamers can get their hands on a Zone of the Enders HD compilation pack this fall. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 collection includes the 2001 original PS2 title Zone of the Enders and its 2003 sequel, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. Both titles are "fully remastered" and feature high-definition visuals, according to Konami.
