After months of leaks and rumors (and years of speculation), Nintendo finally revealed the Switch 2 on January 16 with a teaser video on YouTube. Naturally, fans are already wondering when preorders for the new console will be available. Unfortunately, Switch 2 preorders are not available yet, but you can sign up for preorder notifications at Best Buy. As for when those preorders might go live, we don't know for certain, but Nintendo's Switch 2 teaser video offers some possible clues. Specific hardware specifications were not disclosed, but the teaser says more information about specs, features, and other games will be revealed in an official Switch 2 Direct airing on April 2. Presumably, the Switch 2 release date and price will also be announced during the April Direct--which means Switch 2 preorders will likely go live soon after.
