Recently announced at San Diego Comic Con Marvel: Contest of Champions has debuted a new trailer at NYCC 2014. The game is an immersive, high-action, high-fidelity super hero combat game where players fight their way through iconic locations from the Marvel Universe and collect their favorite Marvel super heroes and villains.

Famed Marvel comic book writer Sam Humphries penned the game.  Sam joined the Marvel universe during the company’s Marvel NOW! Initiative where he launched a new volume of the popular Uncanny X-Force series and the sci-fi epic Avengers A.I.  He is currently lending his talents to the highly anticipated The Legendary Star-Lord, an ongoing series starring the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
