Rerelease of classic PS2 adventure title to have remastered graphics, 1080p feature, and Move support.
Gamers clamouring for a rerelease of Studio Clover's critically acclaimed adventure title Okami will be pleased to know that Capcom will be releasing an HD version of the game by the end of this year in Japan.
According to an advanced copy of Famitsu (via
Sinobu and Tales Source), the PlayStation 3 game will be retitled "Okami Zekkie-ban" (or "Okami: Magnificent Edition" in English). This version of the game will not only have remastered HD graphics, but will also support full 1080p options on current televisions. The game will also have PlayStation Move controller support; players use the Move controller to activate celestial brush powers.
The remastered game will be out on November 1 and will be priced at ¥3,990 ($51). Gamers who buy the first print run of the title will get a code to download the digital version of Okami: A Caricature of Beasts, a Japanese book adaptation of the game's story.
North American and European versions will be out in digital form this fall for $19.99/
