One Direction spilled about their favorite first-time VMA performances on "One Direction: My First Time."

We're blushing bright red as we write this, but last night the boys of One Direction talked about their first time... PERFORMING AT THE 2012 MTV VMAS. What did you think we meant? ::Tugs nervously at collar:: Well, regardless of what the twice-nominated boys were ACTUALLY talking about, we couldn't help but notice how CUTE they looked in high-top sneakers and swoopy haircuts. (We were also secretly hoping for someone to bring out the hose so we could get another glimpse at Harry's new tattoo.)

Moving on: Cute, singing British boys with a deep appreciation for VMA history?? Be still, my heart.

"One Direction: My First Time" had Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson chatting about some of the most legendary first performances in VMA history -- we're talking performances by Rihanna, Green Day, Kanye West, Beyoncé, and others. We LOVED reliving these moments with 1D, but CANNOT WAIT for when the 2012 VMAs air on Sept. 6 -- because that's when our boys will perform for, let's all say it together, THE FIRST TIME.
