Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson help kids scavenge for trash in their new Red Nose Day video.

Not trying to choose favorites or whatever, but don't we think that One Direction are the best Red Nose Day/Comic Relief supporters EVAR? First, the boys spent time with underprivileged kids in Accra, Ghana, then announced a brand-new Comic Relief single (which turned out to be a totally bomb cover of Blondie's "One Way Or Another"). Following that, we alternated between "aww"-ing over Harry Styles' homemade Red Nose Day cupcakes and watching the boys' adorable and self-shot (!!) video for "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)." Now, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan narrate and appear in a brand-new Red Nose Day clip shot in an African slum, meant to shed light on those who benefit from Comic Relief the most.

In the poignant new video, the boys introduce 12-year-old Idris and 15-year-old Sulle. Idris and Sulle want an education (one wants to be a doctor and the other, a teacher), but instead must spend their days sifting through trash, looking for wires to melt down and sell. Niall and Louis look horrified at the conditions, yet act deeply impressed with Idris and Sulle's strength and ability to persevere. While it shouldn't take the world's most famous singers to shed light to this devastation, we have to commend Niall and Louis (and all of 1D, for that matter!) for helping raise awareness about such an important global issue. Click here to donate to the cause! Seriously, One Direction's asking you to.
