While Disney has confirmed which actors will star as Marvel's first family when the Fantastic Four movie hits theaters in 2025, there's been no word yet on who'll be playing their greatest nemesis, Doctor Doom, or if he'll even appear in the film. At least one well-known actor is already lobbying for the role, as Ben Mendelsohn really wants to play the Latverian monarch on the big screen. "I would almost give my eyes and teeth to play Doctor Doom," Mendelsohn said to GQ. "I think Doctor Doom is the great unread Marvel character that could and should be done. But it is what it is." Several actors have played Doom over the years, as he has been the most recognizable villain to pit against the Fantastic Four. Roger Corman's unreleased Fantastic Four movie starred Joseph Culp as Doom, while Tim Story's Fantastic Four movies featured Julian McMahon under the metal mask.
