PopCap Games reveals third-person multiplayer action game for Xbox One and Xbox 360; powered by Frostbite 3.
Electronic Arts today announced Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, an all-new third-person multiplayer action game. The announcement came as part of EA's E3 2013 media briefing.
The game will launch first on Xbox One, followed by a release for the Xbox 360. It is powered by the Frostbite 3 game engine, which also is behind games like Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed: Rivals.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare first surfaced via images leaked out of the Los Angeles Convention Center yesterday.
EA also announced Peggle 2 today during its briefing. It will launch later this year.
