Prince and Jennifer Hudson changed EVERYTHING when they sang "Nothing Compares 2 U."

Until now, a Prince and Jennifer Hudson collaboration has only existed in our wildest fantasies. But guess what? Today must be "watch your wildest fantasies come true" day, because J-Hud and Prince DID ACTUALLY just sing "Nothing Compares 2 U" together during one of Prince's "Welcome 2 Chicago" shows. (Oh, and as long as our fantasies are coming true here, can we get a three-course afternoon snack delivered to our desks, too? 'Cause it's about that time.)

Though "Nothing Compares" was originally written by Prince for his side project The Family, the song was later made famous in 1990 by an Irish gal named, oh, ya know... Sinéad O'Connor. And, while we mean no disrespect to Sinéad's version, basically NOTHING COMPARES to Prince and Jennifer's stage rendition! (Sorry, had to take the easy route, there.) As you might expect, Prince was in rare vocal form -- he even began wailing "take ‘em to church” before Jennifer Hudson proceeded to sing the EFF out of her verse. And you know what, Prince DID take us to church (and I'm totally Jewish)!
