Project Cars is receiving some new content today in the form of a new track and three new cars available for purchase.

This DLC pack features a New Zealand raceway called Ruapuna Park, which features five different track layouts. It's located near Christchurch and its primary track is 3.3 kilometers long. According to a statement from publisher Bandai Namco, the track "incorporates many fast sweeping corners that reward smooth and precise drivers."

This pack also includes three new Audi cars. If you purchase the pack, you'll get the R18 e-tron Quattro, the R8 LMP900, and the 1989 90 IMSA GTO.

Developer Slightly Mad is also releasing a free car for the game, the Audi A1 Quattro, for all players even if they don't buy the new DLC. The content is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for $5.49.

Today, the developer also announced that the Wii U version of the game has been canceled because the system apparently couldn't handle the game. Instead, the company is waiting for new, more powerful hardware from Nintendo.

Slightly Mad also recently announced Project Cars 2, which it is currently crowdfunding.
