Kid Icarus: Uprising developer closed office last month; website to shut down by the end of July. 
The development studio behind the 3DS action game Kid Icarus: Uprising has been dissolved.
According to the official statement on the company's website, the side studio of Sora Ltd, created by Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai, closed down on June 30. The company website will remain online until July 31. At this point in time, there is no official statement from Sakurai and Nintendo as to why the studio was closed down.
In related news, Sakurai and Nintendo announced that Namco Bandai will be developing the upcoming Super Smash Bros. title for the Wii U and 3DS. For more information on Project Sora's game, check out GameSpot's review of Kid Icarus: Uprising.
