It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup sees a sisterly Swedish DJ act's latest dance floor assault, a French pop prince providing some sugary-sweet crooning (in English!), a rising U.S. R&B-pop princess doing some flirting (in Italian!), and some sweet nighttime lullabies by the dreamiest of dream-pop troupes.

1.) Rebecca & Fiona featuring Style of Eye, "Taken Over"

Drop-dead gorgeous Swedish DJ duo Rebecca & Fiona first stole our hearts away back in 2011 with too-cool-for-school dance-pop cuts like "Bullets" and "Jane Doe." Now, the group's back (and just as badass as ever) with their brand-new single "Taken Over," co-crafted with fellow Swedish producer/DJ Style of Eye. "Surrounded by the fence I used to fall into/ Now you undress my mind to see my heart is taken over," the girls call out above the song's throbbing electro pulse. As the track goes on, the girls dive deeper still into frenzied House beats, proving no matter who's taking over their hearts at the moment, they'll always have time to take over the dance floor.

2.) Christophe Willem, "Love Shot Me Down"

Ever since Christophe Willem won "Nouvelle Star" back in 2006 (that's "Idol" in France, basically), he's gone on to produce a solid streak of records. His last album, 2011's shimmering Prismophonic, is a flaw-free set of synth-pop goodness, colored by his unusually high, delicate voice. Now nearly two years later, he's returned with Love Shot Me Down, the English language version of Prismophonic, which makes every breathy coo and sigh just a bit more relatable to the English speaker. "To love, I will surrender/ And fall down at its feet," Willem solemnly swears on the luscious, disco-tinged title track. It's the greatest Kylie Minogue album Kyle never recorded.

3.) K Rose, "A Voi E A Me (You and I)"

K Rose is schoolin' us: The multi-talented 19-year-old singer/songwriter/dancer (show off!) has been in the studio cooking up her debut record with the likes of RedOne and Danja, and now, she's coming guns (and tongues) a-blazing with her multilingual new dance floor scorcher, "A Voi E A Me (You And I)." Filled with bumpin' Euro-tinged beats and softly cooed Italiano, the track's melody is pure seduction: "I wanna be in your heart," Rose flutters on the song's chorus... and suddenly, an almighty beat drop. The video is a must-see, especially once Rose really starts kicking into gear with those killer moves. With its mile-a-minute lingual shuffle (and the impossibly quicker footwork), "A Voi E A Me"  is sort of like doing Rosetta Stone and "Darren's Dance Grooves" all in one.

4.) Sam Smith, "Lay Me Down"

Jessie Ware has been instrumental in ushering in the U.K.'s neo-soul revolution, and now, there's a male counterpart to add to the mix. Produced by U.K. dance duo Disclosure, Sam Smith's minimal debut single relies on the talented crooner's formidable vocals to weave his heartbreaking tale: "I'm missing you/ I'm missing you like crazy," he powerfully pleads above the lightest hint of synths and piano chords. It's one of the most impressive, emotive vocal performances from a male pop artist I've heard in a long, long time -- and this is just the very beginning. Very promising. Oh, and also very depressing!

5.) Late Night Alumni, "Ring A Bell"

Last week, dance troupe Late Night Alumni (co-formed by DJ sensation, Kaskade) quietly returned with their latest studio effort, The Beat Becomes A Sound. As with their past records, this latest collection is a smooth blend of jazzy melodies and soft, late-night pulsations, perfect for midnight drives and sleepless nights. "Late night, like we both been before/ Like we're part of an alumni," lead vocalist Becky Jean Williams breathily purrs on the album's opening track, with honey-dipped vocals wrapping around romantic guitar strums and light dance beats. No Valentine this year? Curl up in a ball of pillows and blankets and get this one in your headphones immediately -- it's like a big ol' hug for your ears.
