Capcom confirms upcoming horror action game not targeted at Nintendo's new console.
Capcom has no immediate plans to bring Resident Evil 6 to Nintendo's Wii U, the publisher confirmed to
IGN recently.
"Unfortunately, [Resident Evil 6] will not be available at this time on the Wii U," producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi said. "Right now we're concentrating on the PlayStation 3 version, 360 version, and the PC version of the game."
Resident Evil 6 will deploy on October 2, more than a month ahead of its original November 20 release date. The Wii U does not yet have a release date, but Nintendo previously confirmed the new system will be out worldwide this holiday season.
