Following poorly received Resident Evil game, company building its first original IP, the mysterious 2013-dated Strata Scavenger.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City shipped yesterday and was panned by critics across the board. Today, its developer, Slant Six Games, has announced the studio's next project, Strata Scavenger.
Revealed via a sparse product page on the studio's website, Slant Six said it expects to ship Strata Scavenger in 2013. Details are thin concerning the project, but a poster for the game (at right) depicts a space ship hovering above thick smoke and bright lightning. Platforms were not announced.
Strata Scavenger will be Slant Six's first original intellectual property. Prior to developing Resident Evil: Raccoon City, the developer built the SOCOM games SOCOM: Tactical Strike (2007 PSP), SOCOM: Confrontation (2008 PS3), and SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 (2010 PSP).
