Rihanna lights up (cars, duh!) on the set of her "Diamonds" video.

We pretty much already guessed that Rihanna would be blowing ish up in her upcoming "Diamonds" video (which seems to be a running trend these days), but we had no idea she'd actually be the CAUSE of said explosions. (Then again, we probably should have known, seeing as Ri's been blowing up the internet with her ::recreational:: cigarettes, sexy bikini Instagrams, and breakfasts in bed for months.) After releasing some fiery (literally and figuratively) portraits last month of her "Diamonds" video shoot, Rihanna has now unveiled a quick behind-the-scenes clip of what we can expect to see when the "Diamonds" video officially drops Thursday, Nov. 8, at 6:55 on MTV and MTV.com. And from what we can tell, she's either presiding over a major three-car pileup, or is the cause of it (probably the latter).

Following RiRi out of her trailer and onto the set of "Diamonds," our behind-the-scenes glance has her looking glamorous in a black, drapey dress and hanging out in what looks like a major car wreck -- firemen are trying to put out the blaze, but Rihanna just stands there looking pensive. Is it all happening in her mind? Is this video all a metaphor? We didn't see any actual diamonds, but is it because diamonds are sometimes brought to the surface via volcanoes and lava?? Is RIHANNA the diamond?! (I'm determined to put my English degree to use somehow, guys.)
