Santigold, B.o.B. And Red Hot Chili Peppers Release New Albums; Justin Bieber Premieres ‘Boyfriend’ Video

Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to).

Hang on to your seats, Beliebers! After releasing several teaser clips, Justin Bieber will finally reveal the full "Boyfriend" video on Wednesday. Santigold performs on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday, which also marks the release date of her sophomore effort, Master of My Make-Believe. B.o.B. also drops his sophomore album, Strange Clouds, and Red Hot Chili Peppers cover some Rock and Roll Hall of Famer gems to commemorate their own induction as well. Finally, will Rihanna make another epic "Digital Short" at the end of the week? Find out when she returns to "Saturday Night Live" as the musical guest.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

Tuesday, May 1

+ Santigold, Master of my Make-Believe: From the word "Go" (also the name of the track that features Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O.), Santi White's "make-believe" deals in realities like navigating a fame-obsessed culture ("Fame") and working for the man ("Disparate Youth"). From the dance floor jam "Freak Like Me" to the catchy, poptastic "The Keepers" and contemplative "Riot's Gone," Santigold put plenty of craft and thought into her sophomore effort.

+ B.o.B, Strange Clouds: For B.o.B's second studio album, he recruited a bevy of guests, including Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Nelly, T.I. and Morgan Freeman (?!). The weed/party single "Strange Clouds" featuring Lil Wayne inspired the title for the album. Also check out the emo-rap in "So Hard to Breathe."

+ Red Hot Chili Peppers, We Salute You EP: The guys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, and to celebrate they paid homage to previous inductees. RHCP covers Dion and The Belmonts' "Teenager in Love," Ramones' "Havana Affair," Iggy and The Stooges' "Search & Destroy," Neil Young's "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere," The Beach Boys' "I Get Around," and David Bowie's "Suffragette City."

Check out more new album releases and upcoming TV appearances and performances after the jump.

+ Norah Jones, Little Broken Hearts: Produced and cowritten by Danger Mouse, Norah Jones explores the various emotional layers of heartbreak, from the bouncy kiss-off of "Happy Pills" to the smoky twang of the cheating-themed "4 Broken Hearts." Three bonus tracks, including the dark, acoustic "I Don't Want To Hear Another Sound," are available on the deluxe edition.

+ Rufus Wainwright, Out Of The Game: Family musical genes course through Rufus Wainwright's blood (via his folk singer parents Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle). With his multi-octave vocals, his work has ranged from operatic to cabaret stylings. For his seventh album, he tapped Mark Ronson to produce, and it marks a return to Rufus' emotive, classic pop roots.

+ Marilyn Manson, Born Villain: In an unlikely collaboration, last year Shia LaBeouf  directed Marilyn Manson's NSFW trailer for Born Villain, which sets the tone for arty gore and dark themes. "No Reflection" follows suit, and the album culminates with a grinding, pulsating cover of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain," featuring Johnny Depp on guitar.

+ Nick Waterhouse, Time's All Gone: It may be 2012, but there's something solidly comforting about old-school soul and R&B's continuing resurgence. The buzzed-about neo-retro groover Nick Waterhouse mines those classic sounds, complete with resounding horns, romping pianos, buoying backup singers and a warm, grooving voice that swings, slinks and sways.
