Shrek's iconic swamp house from the popular animated film is available to rent on Airbnb, and it looks very peaceful and serene. "Shrek's Swamp" is located in the Scottish Highlands in Scotland, and it's a recreation of the ogre's home, with an impressive amount of detail.

Shrek's Swamp is available for one weekend only, October 27-29 this year. Bookings open on October 13 at 6 PM BST, so anyone interested needs to log on right away and hope to get lucky. And just to be clear, this is not a contest of any sort, so guests need to pay to get to Scotland and for their stay; rates were not posted on the Airbnb listing, however.

The secluded home is surrounded by trails and picnic locations, with forests filled with conifer trees and limited light pollution to help you see the night sky very clearly.
