Vote for the 2013 Woodies nominees!

The 2013 mtvU Woodie Awards are less than a month away! Yep, mtvU's annual celebration of who's who in indie/underground/college music is heading back to Austin, Texas, on March 17. But you can't just go and have an awards show without nominees, right? Well, we've got plenty of those, and chances are you've already listened to many of them (think MGK, Kendrick Lamar, and Grammy winner Frank Ocean), and now Woodies voting is OPEN NOW. Read on for deets!

To start, we think you'll become a little obsessed with this year's Woodie Of The Year contenders, including fun., Grimes, A$ap Rocky, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Kendrick Lamar, MGK, and Walk The Moon. Best Coast and Skrillex are also battling it out in the Best Video category, Frank Ocean is up for a FOMO Woodie, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are up for a Branching Out Woodie (not to mention hitting three lucky colleges on the 2013 Woodies Tour), MTV Artist To Watch Zedd's nominated for a Breaking Woodie (sounds like a karate move!), and Kanye West and Kimbra are both in the running for a Tag Team Woodie. (Whew, FIERCE competition... We wouldn't want to be those guys...except of course we would).

Vote for the 2013 Woodie Nominees through March 14 at 4 p.m. ET, and watch the 2013 Woodie Awards on Sunday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET!
