Thankfully snippets of Madonna's forthcoming MDNA album have been flooding the internet. We've already heard Madge's club-friendly dance records "Girl Gone Wild" and "Addicted" as well as her bubblegum pop, pep rally-inspired "Give Me All Your Luvin'." Today, we bring you "Gang Bang," which should not be confused with the theme of my Netflix queue. (Have y'all seen "Gangland"? Can't stop watching!) We're not quite sure where to start with this one since the voice on the song doesn't even remotely sound like Madonna! (We're kind of getting more of a Marilyn Manson vibe, but maybe that's us.)
Set to a sparse, grimy and grungy beat, Madonna goes totally dark as she sings about killing her man dead: "Bat out of hell/ Fish out of water/ I'm scared, can't you tell?/ Bang bang, shot you dead/ Bang bang, shot you dead/ Bang bang, shot you dead/ Shot my lover in the head." Madonna doesn't strike me as the kinda gal who is scared of anything, but we'll take her word for it. We feel really badly for the idiot who pissed her off. Like, it's MADGE. Come on, now.

Though it's just a snippet, "Gang Bang" couldn't be more different from other tunes we've heard, which leads us to believe that MDNA might be Madonna's most diverse album yet. Either way, we'd really like it if the damn thing could come out already so that we can host a private karaoke session decide.
