Following its release for purchase on streaming services and digital stores, the Sonic the Hedgehog movie is available now on Blu-ray and DVD, while it can also now be rented on digital stores. Previously, the only way to watch Sonic at home was to purchase it outright.

Sonic's Blu-ray and DVD version comes with a series of bonus features, including deleted scenes, a blooper reel, and commentary from director Jeff Fowler and Sonic voice actor Ben Schwartz. There is also a bonus feature called "Building Robotnik with Jim Carrey," featuring Jim Carrey talking about his process of becoming the villain.
