Sony has dropped the price on The Last of Us Remastered for PlayStation 4 from $60 to $50 this weekend. Fans who pre-ordered the game with retailers like Amazon and Gamestop should have already been refunded the $10 difference, but at first there was some confusion about whether those who bought the game from the PlayStation Store will recieve the same treatment. If you bought the game from the PlayStation Store you’ve probably noticed you haven’t recieved the $10 back yet, and Sony’s policy about pre-orders is stated very clearly in all capital letters on The Last of Us Remastered pre-order page: “YOU MAY NOT CANCEL A PRE-ORDER AT ANY TIME AND REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDERS, SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS.” However, both VP of Publisher and Develpoper Relations at PlayStation Adam Boyes and President of Worlwide Studios Shuei Yoshida assured fans via Twitter that they should get a $10 refund in the next five-seven days. In addition to updated visuals and DLC, The Last of Us Remastered features director's commentary from Neil Druckmann, as well as input from voice actors Troy Baker (Joel) and Ashley Johnson (Ellie). It’s set to launch exclusively on PS4 on July 29.
