Sony launched the Inzone Buds late last year, offering a sleek and small alternative to traditional gaming headphones. These earbuds are aimed at PC players, though they also work well on PS5. Since they're equipped with the same drivers as the popular WH-1000XM5 earbuds and utilize Sony's excellent noise-canceling tech, they're an easy recommendation for those who discerning listeners who prefer earbuds. Fast forward to today, and the Inzone Buds are getting their first discount, bringing the price down to $178 (down from $200). Yes, they are still pricey, but some users will be able to use the Inzone Buds as a high-end replacement for general, non-gaming earbuds. The Sony Inzone Buds are available in either a combo white/black color scheme or black. Both models are eligible for the current Amazon deal. Along with superb active noise cancellation and up to 12 hours of battery life (24 with the charging case), PC users will get access to the Inzone software to fully customize their performance. An AI-assisted microphone enhances your voice to help your words ring out clearly to your teammates. The biggest downside to the earbuds is that you'll probably need to use the included USB-C dongle if you decide to use them with your phone, as its Bluetooth LE Audio connection isn't supported by many devices. Some newer Android phones have Bluetooth LE, but Apple's iPhones aren't part of that small ecosystem. iOS users with an iPhone 15 can simply connect the USB-C dongle for playback, but if you have an iPhone with a Lightning port, you'll need a Lightning to USB-C adapter that supports audio. (including iPhone). This $15 adapter works perfectly in our experience, but it obviously adds a dangling cord to your iPhone, which may bother some users. Aside from that caveat, there's not much to dislike about the Inzone Buds. Our Inzone Buds review found them to be a great alternative to many high-end gaming headsets on the market, and since they come with four different eartip sizes, you should have no trouble finding a comfortable fit. Note that, while the Inzone software is only available on PC, you'll still get support for all of PS5's built-in audio tech--such as Tempest 3D Audio and Dolby Atmos. Continue Reading at GameSpot
