Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is almost here, and ahead of launch, players are now able to preload the game onto their PlayStation 5. Everyone who has pre-purchased the game can preload now, Sony announced on social media. "Get ready to swing," the company said.

Spider-Man 2 won't unlock until launch day, however, so players have to wait until October 20 to actually jump into the game. The game unlocks at 12 AM ET, according to its product page.

Preloading is probably a good idea, too, as the game comes in at 98GB. Getting it installed ahead of time ensures you're ready to go once the game unlocks.
