Avril Lavigne's sexy sailor costume makes a splash on Halloween.

We know it's the day after Halloween, and y'all are probably nursing some pretty nasty candy hangovers, but can we just take a look at Avril Lavigne's Halloween costume? She's DOMINATING it as a sexy sailor... or sailorette... naughty nautical... um, what do you even call a punk-rock pop star sailor in a miniskirt? Oh, we know: DAYYYYYYYUM FOINE.

The "Wish You Were Here" singer took some time off from working on her next record to share a photo on Twitter with the caption, "Tick or Treat... Happy Halloween! Hope everyone had a good safe night. Anchors away!" We're just throwing this idea out there, but may we suggest that Avril adds this look to her Abbey Dawn line for Spring/Summer '13? Or, even better, that she dress her bridesmaids up in sailor dresses for her upcoming wedding to Nickelback's Chad Kroeger? Knot a bad idea, right?! (What? You thought this whole thing would be sailor-wordplay free?)
