Katy Perry visits with Jiro, the world-renowned sushi chef, while in Japan. Also, we want some sushi.

When you're a big deal like Katy Perry, becoming starstruck is probably a rare occurrence (well, almost). However, when Katy met Jiro, the world's (unofficial, but pretty official) greatest sushi chef -- she got so excited that she leaned over to give him a peck on the cheek! Honestly though, we might freak out a little bit too -- the man starred in a critically-acclaimed documentary about his AMAZ sushi! If we were sitting next to a dude who could roll literally the best spicy tuna roll IN THE WORLD, we would hold him at chopstick point until he made us a batch. (What? We really like sushi.)

The "Wide Awake" singer recently shared a photo on Twitter during her visit with the famous sushi master (and the star of "Jiro Dreams of Sushi") at his coveted restaurant where there are only ten seats in the entire joint (um, talk about V.I.P.). Hey, girl deserves a legit celebration after being named Billboard's Woman of the Year!

Aside from from offering the cutest old man we've ever seen a kiss on the cheek, we kinda wonder how else Katy bribed him into making her dinner? If he was smart, he made her sing for her supper -- perhaps she sang some scales. Get it!? Music scales?! Fish have scales?! (*Sigh* Sorry, guys.)
