Now that The Acolyte has wrapped up its first season, fans may have to wait before the fate of the series is decided by Disney+. In the meantime, one of the stars of The Acolyte has revealed that an alternate ending was filmed that would have opened up a romantic relationship between two of the leading characters. After trying to get Mae (Amandla Stenberg) murder a Jedi without a weapon for most of the season, Qimir/The Stranger (Manny Jacinto) witnessed Mae's sister, Osha (Stenberg), pull off that feat when she killed her former master, Sol (Lee Jung-jae), for murdering her mother years earlier.
