The annual Steam Summer Sale is now live, discounting thousands of PC games to some of their best prices of the year. Included in the catalog are dozens of great Steam Deck titles, all of which are verified to run on the handheld PC without any hiccups. Whether you just bought a new Steam Deck or need a few games to get you through the summer, now is a great time to be shopping.

One of the best deals is for Celeste, as you can pick up the iconic platformer for just $2 (down from $20). Along with challenging gameplay, you'll be treated to an emotional story that'll stick with you long after the credits roll. It's an easy recommendation at full price, but now that it's just two bucks, there's no reason to pass it up.

Other great deals include the turn-based RPG Chained Echoes for $17 (down from $25), the hilarious Cult of the Lamb for $15 (down from $25), and the devilishly difficult Cuphead for $14 ($20). We'd also recommend checking out Cursed to Golf for $7 (down from $20), as its unique mixture of golf mechanics and roguelike elements work surprisingly well--and it's a good fit for Steam Deck.

If you're yet to play through the Ori series, you can pick up Ori: The Collection for $13 (down from $50), which includes both Blind Forest and Will of the Wisps. That's one of the best prices we've seen for the metroidvanias, so be sure to give them a look during the Steam Summer Sale.

It's not seeing much of a discount, but the breakout indie Balatro is down to $13.49 from its usual $15. It earned rave reviews thanks to its unique twist on traditional poker, and with tons of unlockable content and unique ways to build your deck, it's endlessly replayable.

Be sure to also check out GOG and GameSpot sister site Fanatical, as they're running similar discounts. Fanatical is a particularly good place to shop, as some games are actually cheaper at the retailer--and most titles are offered as Steam keys.
