ComicWow! Interviews Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. CEO, Steve Geppi, About the Company’s 35^th Anniversary

Timonium, MD, 7 February 2017—Pop culture mogul, Steve Geppi, will be stopping by the ComicWow studios on February 8^th for an interview about Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. (DCD). February 1, 2017 marked the 35^th anniversary for DCD.

Geppi established a comic book shop in Baltimore in the ‘70s. From there, he went into the distributing business. DCD is now the largest comic book distribution service of English-language comics. Not only this, but Diamond has since developed numerous companies under its umbrella, including Hakes Americana & Collectibles, Baltimore Magazine, Gemstone Publishing, Diamond International Galleries, Diamond Select Toys, ComicWow, Alliance Game Distributors, Geppi’s Entertainment Museum, PREVIEWSworld, and E. Gerber.

After 35 years, DCD is still going strong. The comic book industry is flourishing, and Geppi is a large part of that success. Reflecting on the last few decades in the industry is a great way to celebrate another 35+ more!
