May 25, 2015– In an effort to streamline the web address of their blog, Tenacious Toys has partnered with artists Tony Gil and Playful Gorilla to re-brand the widely-read blog as Tenacious.Ninja.

While the layout, content, writers and purpose of the Tenacious Blog remain the same, the web address has changed from tenacious-toys.blogspot.com to simply www.tenacious.ninja

Benny Kline, CEO of Tenacious Toys and founder of the Tenacious Blog, explains this re-branding concept:
“When you first start a Blogger blog, you get to choose the beginning of the URL for your blog, but it’ll always end with .blogspot.com unless you set up a “vanity” address using a domain you’ve purchased… It didn’t seem like a priority to me until I realized we have been blogging for 7 years and had over one million pageviews. Only then did it dawn on me that my blog’s domain was wack… by that I mean, too long and cumbersome. tenacious-toys.blogspot.com … man, that’s a mouthful and really not a pretty URL to stick on a business card. Also, hard to remember offhand.”

After purchasing the tenacious.ninja domain, Tenacious Toys contacted the leading ninja-themed custom toy artist, Tony Gil, to co-opt one of his characters to represent the newly-christened Tenacious.Ninja. The task of turning this 3D custom toy into a 2D cartoon-style mascot for the blog fell to Alex Rivera, aka Playful Gorilla. Alex also designed the blue pitbull head logo that represents the Tenacious Toys shop.

With big plans to offer Tenacious Ninja-themed merchandise like t-shirts, stickers and even custom toys, toy collectors can expect to see much more of the Tenacious Ninja character.
