The 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards completely ruled Germany (don't worry, America -- you can catch the show tonight at 11p.m. on MTV2!) with performances by Taylor Swift, No Doubt, Muse, in addition to Alicia Keys, The Killers, Psy, Pitbull, Carly Rae Jepsen, fun., and Rita Ora! But, even after all of that, what was still the momentous moment of the night? Oh, just that one time that Taylor Swift met David Hasselhoff. LIVING. LEGEND STATUS.

Could it be possible that The Hoff has a lil' crush on Taylor Swift (um, get in line bro.) The former "Baywatch" star was clearly thrilled to meet the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer, and he wasn't afraid to tweet about it either: "This party is rocking! @taylorswift13 is so nice and so beautiful don't you all agree? #mtvema." Yes, we do agree (and your smokey eye is killing it, by the way, Tay!). But David, if you're looking to earn EMA BFF status with Taylor Swift, we're sorry to report that it looks like Lana Del Rey already beat you to it.
