Meet Sydney, Australia's Catcall. Otherwise know as Catherine Kelleher, Catcall reminds us of Mates Of States' heady lyrics tinged with Robyn and Icona Pop's sugary dance-pop vibes. Though you may not recognize her by name yet, you've definitely heard Catcall's high-energy smash "The World Is Ours" as it's currently soundtracking MTV's on-air spot for "Awkward" and "Teen Wolf."

Catcall's self-released her 2008 EP Anniversary and immediately caught the attention of Ivy League Records. After signing a deal, Catcall got to work on her debut, The Warmest Place, which has already won her legions of devotees (Catcallers?) and critical acclaim. Gawker's admitted they're obsessed with her, she's already reached the top spot on the Hype Machine charts, and she's been handpicked as an opening act for big names like La Roux, Phoenix, Gossip and more. Catcall's just another reason we're obsessed with Australia... besides hot bros with cute accents and the fact that One Direction spent basically their entire vacation there not wearing shirts.
