Say it ain't so, Miley and Liam!

As you could probably imagine, things have been a little rough for us this week. Because if we have to hear another Miley Cyrus/Liam Hemsworth breakup rumor, we just MIGHT feel compelled to go into full hiding-under-the-covers-with-a-bowl-of-ramen mode. Last time we hid in our mattress-noodle cave was when after seeing Taylor Swift looking sad on a boat after splitting from Harry Styles, but if these Miley rumors are true, it's gonna be SO MUCH WORSE. We're talking MONTHS of hibernation. Like a very sad bear.

Anyway, we know what you're going to say -- you'll say, "But Buzzworthy, Miley already confirmed via Twitter that she and Liam WEREN'T breaking up! Remember last week when she told off the haters and went on a social media hiatus??" And we'll say, "Yes, we DO remember that, but WHY do we keep reading about 'January Jones' this and 'Liam's gone to Australia' that?!" Some rumors are just too difficult to ignore.

But let's look on the bright side: Even if Miley and Liam ARE dunzo and we're forced to retreat into a pile of blankets and baked goods, we will have one very important thing to look forward to. Did y'all forget that Miley's got a brand-new album in the works? I mean, the one positive thing about breakups is that they inspire new haircuts (though it might be a little too late for that) and more time to focus on work. Plus, we're dying to know what's in store for Miley's 2013 album -- so far we've heard that in addition to exploring a more "urban" sound, she's working with everybody from Pharrell to Tyler, The Creator -- not to mention Wiz Khalifa, Hit-Boy, Mike Will Made, and Mary J. Blige. We can also rest easy knowing that if Miley is in fact newly single, she'll have Lil' Kim and Tiffany Foxx to take her out party-hopping. All that said, we're still (and always will be) rooting for Miley and Liam -- and no, that's NOT our "Team Gale" crush talking. It's NOT! Stop looking at me like that.
