On the eve of the franchise’s 46th Anniversary, Google.com is celebrating its historic launch with an out-of-this-world Star Trek-themed interactive doodle/logo featuring the unmistakable iconography from the series that introduced the world to mobile communications, automatic doors, pointy ears and green aliens.
