Tom Holland has shared new details on his pitch for a James Bond movie, one that was ultimately rejected, but led to him being cast as Nathan Drake in the Uncharted movie due out this month. Holland told the LA Times that his pitch to Sony Pictures Chairman Tom Rothman was "really good," but it didn't have many other supporters inside Sony. His idea was for a James Bond origin story that isn't revealed to be a James Bond film until the very end. "He was supposed to just be a kid who was graduating into the SAS and goes on a mission, which is obviously exciting and adventurous. At the end of the film, he would be recruited into MI:6 and given the status of double-O and the title of James Bond," he said.
