LOS ANGELES, October 22, 2024 – Legendary Comics, in partnership with Rocketship Entertainment, announced today the launch of Trick’ r Treat: Witching Hours, a new graphic novel available exclusively on Kickstarter. This marks the first all-original Trick ‘r Treat graphic novel in a decade, presented by Trick’ r Treatcreator and director Michael Dougherty. Also, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Michael Dougherty’s Krampusin 2025, a new edition of the tie-in graphic novel, Krampus: Shadow of Saint Nicholas, will be launched with a special Kickstarter edition. Trick ‘r Treat: Witching Hours features four brand-new, original stories centered around everyone’s favorite mischief-maker, SAM. The stories are brought to life by a talented group of creators, including writers Michael Dougherty (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Trick’ r Treat: Days of the Dead), Zach Shields (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Trick’ r Treat: Days of the Dead), Todd Casey (Trick’ r Treat: Days of the Dead), Breehn Burns (Trick’ r Treat movie, Trick’ r Treat: The Haunting), and Curtis Waugh (Stegosaurus, the Moistest) . Artistic contributions come from Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night), Breehn Burns (Trick ‘r Treat movie original concept artist and comic illustrator), and Tristan Jones (Mad Max: Fury Road comics).

Fans and collectors will also have the opportunity to pledge for exclusive items available only during the Kickstarter campaign, including a special slipcase edition of the graphic novel and other limited-edition merchandise.

Zach Shields is a writer and producer with credits, including Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Krampus.
Todd Casey is a seasoned writer who has contributed to the Trick’ r Treat universe and other projects, such as Krampus.
Breehn Burns is the original concept artist who designed Sam for the film and much of the look of Trick ‘r Treat, based on creator Michael Dougherty’s vision.
Ben Templesmith is an acclaimed artist and co-creator of 30 Days of Night
Tristan Jones is anartist hand-picked by George Miller for the Mad Max: Fury Road comics.
Curtis Waugh is a filmmaker known for Stegosaurus, The Moistest
