Streaming service to be compatible with Microsoft's next-generation platform.

Microsoft announced today that streaming service Twitch will be available on the Xbox One.

Twitch integration on the Xbox One will allow Xbox Live Gold members to broadcast games directly to their Twitch channels. Users can also view content from others through the platform.

"The impact of this level of console integration will be a true game changer," Twitch CEO Emmett Shear said in a statement.

Twitch currently has 35 million unique monthly visitors.
