The previously spotted Fighter Within looks like a sequel to critically-mauled brawler Fighters Uncaged.
Ubisoft looks to be gearing up to unveil the previously spotted Fighter Within as a follow-up to critically-mauled Kinect brawler Fighters Uncaged.
A now-removed page on Ubisoft's site for the game (spotted by All Games Beta) states that Fighter Within will be coming to Xbox One, and will use the machine's improved Kinect sensor.
Other than promising more technical precision for the fighting, Fighter Within also seems to be introducing local and online multiplayer to the series. "New Kinects power dramatically improves the multiplayer experience," reads the now-removed text, "allowing you to invite and defy your friends over a good fight right in your living room, or to compete online against the world to become the ultimate fighter."
Fighters Uncaged was given a score of 2.0 in its GameSpot review, and subsequently became the lowest score given to a game by GameSpot in 2010.
"The only thing you'll get out of this game is a sweat," said reviewer Mark Walton at the time, "as you manically punch at the air in frustration. No matter how eager you might be for a Kinect-powered brawl, Fighters Uncaged is one game that's worth leaving locked up."
