On Christmas Day, Dec. 25, The Nacelle Company, the studio behind The Toys That Made Us, (Netflix), Behind The Attraction (Disney+), and Center Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek (History) will unwrap the fourth season of its acclaimed docu series, A Toy Store Near You on Amazon Prime Video.

The five new episodes of the series directed by Nacelle Co. CEO Brian Volk-Weiss for this season lean heavily into the world of vintage and the stories of the people behind the stores. Featured stores include:  Super Happy Incredible Toys (Houston, Texas), Dr. Tongue’s I Had That Shop (Portland, Oregon), Toy De Jour (Chicago, Illinois), Toys From The Past (Lincoln, Nebraska) and Totally Rad Toy House (Nashville, Tennessee).

In earlier seasons, A Toy Store Near You put the spotlight on a variety of new and vintage toy stores from around the world. What started as a reaction to how businesses were pivoting in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic has since become a celebration of small businesses and the passion of the toy community as a whole.    Since last year, The Nacelle Co. has accumulated more than 20,000 hours of footage that was shot in more than 50 toy stores across seven countries. The majority of proceeds generated by the series will benefit the stores featured.
