Lego sent out a newsletter with some info on their January events they will hosting at local Lego stores. Of particular interest to me is the Minifigure Swap so I can get rid of some of my doubles that I have pulled and can trade them for some figures I need.
Check with your local stores to make sure they are participating.
 NEXO KNIGHTS™ Play – January 11th – 15th
Visit the LEGO Store and choose your side by building a monster vehicle or a hero vehicle. Once you’re ready for battle see a Brick Specialist to receive a power-up to use in the app game! The app, LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™: MERLOK 2.0, is free to download on your smartphone or tablet. Plus, ask a Brick Specialist about NEXO KNIGHTS anytime in the month of January to get a passport stamp!†
 LEGO Minifigure Swap – Monday, January 18 4-6pm
Join in a LEGO Minifigure Swap! How it works: Bring 1 Minifigure in to the LEGO Store on January 18 between 4-6pm. Then, you can trade with Brick Specialists or other LEGO fans! It’s a fun way to change up your collection
 LEGO® Club Meeting – Saturday, January 23 and Saturday, January 30
Join in a LEGO® Club Meeting! Meet other club members and share your building skills, learn how to build the January mini model and use your creativity to add more to it. Plus, you can take your creation home! This exclusive event has limited space, so sign up early! Registration is $10 per child. Open to children ages 6-14 only. Registration begins January 1.
