Watch Jack Dolgen's brand-new video "Daytime."
Just like Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen, hanging out with Jack Dolgen's always a good time. In the musician's "Daytime" video, a half-dozen Dolgens chill together, "Multiplicity"-style, minus Michael Keaton and the weird pizza obsession. The Dolgen crew's a busy bunch: the video spies them laying down tracks, going on a date, hitting the pool, and even facing off in a super-serious tennis match against his Andy Roddick-iest alter ego. But in any guise, the curly-haired singer's as stoked and smiling as the sounds of the upbeat track, a California guitar pop jam that bounces with a shout-a-long chorus: "I got you, and you still got me." Definitely required listening for the last few days of summer.

The former Sam Champion bassist has spent the last few years going solo, and recently released his sophomore set Wandering Times in August. In fact, you may have even heard "Daytime" soundtracking a crucial moment on "16 and Pregnant" or "World of Jenks." But Dolgen's not only kicking out the sun-kissed jams -- he's also producing the new Brad Raisin album and has co-written and/or produced comedy videos with Rachel Bloom, Kimmy Gatewood and others. So we know there's at least one Dolgen with a sense of humor.
