Mayday Parade say they're sorry on "Stay."

It takes a brave punk rocker to say he's sorry, but Mayday Parade's Derek Sanders just might be the genre's Taylor Swift: yup, headfirst, fearless. "I'll admit I was wrong about everything," he sings on girlfriend-apology-anthem "Stay." "I'm not strong enough for the both of us/ What was I supposed to do?" Hey, saying so sounds like a pretty good start to us -- but a dozen roses and a box of organic dark chocolate might not be a bad idea while he's at it.

The Tallahassee, Fla., quintet went animated for their funereal "Oh Well, Oh Well" video, so it's nice to see the boys back in the flesh. Not that they cut down on the drama: The video opens with a brunette girl on an ambulance gurney (very "Marry the Night"!) shuttling off to the hospital as the band goes black-tie to play the song to lonely white walls. Some heart-touching string arrangements gives the track that "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" blockbuster quality, as does a furious guitar breakdown as things take a turn for the worst back in the ambulance. No spoilers -- you're just going to have to take a deep breath and stay all the way to the end.

The band's self-titled Mayday Parade has been raining into our ears since it dropped in October. They're touring Japan this summer -- time to max out those frequent flier miles (and overload on sushi).
