Fun. aims and ignites in their 'Some Nights' video preview.

Fun. took that whole "this is war" refrain of "Some Nights" quite literally in their video of the same name. Which explains why this "Some Nights" video preview looks like color-treated found footage from the Civil War. Or maybe lead singer Nate Ruess is really into historical reenactment? Either way, this is either Fun.'s "Some Nights" video, or I somehow stumbled upon an Internet portal that catapulted me onto the set of Steven Spielberg's new Lincoln bio pic.

The all-too-brief sneak peek of the "Some Nights" video, directed by Anthony Mandler, sees the band suited up and ready for battle as two armies -- one blue, one gray -- advance upon each other on a darkened battlefield. The dramatic blitzkrieg features just as much bombast, ballast, pomp and circumstance as the song, which is the follow-up to their chart-busting "We Are Young."
