If you weren't able to snag a PS5 or Xbox Series X in their preorder phases or during launch week, then you'll have another chance during Black Friday 2020. Walmart kicks off its Deals For Days event on November 25 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET and will restock the PS5 and Xbox Series X alongside it. The consoles will only be available on Walmart.com, not in stores, so stay home and keep your mouse finger loose and limber.

Walmart's Black Friday ad does not show the digital PS5 or the Xbox Series S, so it's unclear if these digital-only consoles will also be restocked. If you want a new console, you should focus on trying to order an Xbox Series X or PS5 with a disc drive when Walmart's restock happens. If last week's Walmart PS5 restocks are any indication, they'll sell out fast, so you'll want to give yourself the best chance at snagging one. Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X is the only console that can play the next-gen version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon. It features a lot of the same third-party titles as the PS5, too, including Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It also boasts 100% compatibility with the Xbox One's library as well as every Xbox 360 and original Xbox game that has been made backwards-compatible with the new consoles.

In addition to keeping Xbox Series X and PS5 orders online-only, Walmart is staying closed on Thanksgiving Day this year. The company said it's doing this to give its employees a "special Thanksgiving Day at home with their loved ones" after a "trying year."
