Want to open for Hunter Hayes at his MTV "Artist To Watch Live" show in NYC?

We all love country-pop crooner Hunter Hayes -- this much is indisputable. AND we've had his "Artist To Watch Live" performance/livestream at NYC's Webster Hall marked on our calendar for, like, ever (get tickets here). So, how could this deal get any sweeter? How about if we invite an up-and-coming artist to OPEN for Hunter at his show? And what if that artist is YOU and/or your band? And how about if Hunter himself chooses the winner? We know, amazing right?? Not a country singer? Don't worry -- this opportunity is open to all genres. Go nuts!

Here are the basic rules (which you can read in full here): You must be over 18, live in the contiguous United States (Sorry Hawaii and Alaska, we got you next time), and you must create an artist page on MTV.com. Once you do that, you're as good as gold. PLUS, if you're chosen, travel and lodging costs will be covered up to $1500, MTV will rave about you on one of our blogs (including yours truly), and most important, you'll open for Hunter Hayes on June 8 in New York City! Now, we can't speak for everyone, but if you're a band looking for your big break, then you basically HAVE TO enter. No excuses.
