Fans Called On to Vote for their Favorite New Naughty Kid, Winner to Become Kickstarter-Exclusive Free Add-On
CHICAGO, IL (November 25, 2015): Warpo, the indie toy company that created the Legends of Cthulhu retro action figures and Don’t Cuddle the Krampus, the new large plush toy currently on Kickstarter, today reveals two new Naughty Kid toy pillow concepts by renown artist Jim Groman, and calls on fans to vote for their favorite. The winner will be put into production and given free to all backers of the Don’t Cuddle the Krampus Kickstarter pledged at the “Krampus Level” and above, once the initial fundraising goal of $70,000 is met.
Artist Jim Groman (My Pet Monster, Madballs, Barnyard Heroes), has developed two new Naughty Kid archetypes, “video game maniac” and “heavy metal headbanger” to join existing Naughty Kids “Headlock Harry”, “Gag-Me Gloria”, and “Know-it-All Ned”, toy pillow accessories for Don’t Cuddle the Krampus. Fans can vote for their favorite on the Warpo facebook page, as well as offer suggestions for naming them. The voting will run until the end of the Kickstarter on December 10, 2015.
Don’t Cuddle the Krampus is the first retro collectible toy line based on Santa’s wicked counterpart, and reimagined as an iconic plush monster toy of 1986. Currently more than 75% funded on Kickstarter, Don’t Cuddle the Krampus comes with three or more Naughty Kid pillow toys, and features a wide array of 1980s-style tie-in product, including a read-along storybook and cassette, cereal box, apparel, and a lump of Krampus coal that can be sent as a gift for Christmas 2015.
