Trust us, we LOVE knowing what's going to happen before the VMAs start (that DVR ain't gonna schedule itself when One Direction hits the stage this year), but it's the unplanned moments that really get our tongues wagging. Today, we're going a little cray over these mash-up videos showcasing 20 years of celebrities presenting Moonmen, saying "Thank y'all" for their VMAs, and whoops -- swearing. Celebs: They're just like us!! Potty mouths!!

In these hi-larious, borderline nostalgic videos, we see celebs awarding the "Video Of The Year" VMAs, and by celebs, we mean, oh, Eddie Murphy, Tina Turner, Cher, Madonna, Will Smith, Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell, Whitney Houston (RIP <3), Snoop Dogg, and yeeah you pretty much get the idea by now. Mashups! Music through the ages!

Then, we have a series of heartfelt "Thank y'alls" from names like No Doubt, TLC, Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Lopez thanking God, their moms, and their fans while clutching Moonmen. (We're thanking God for you too, guys!!)

And finally, we're DYING over this swear reel of celebs busting out four-letter words all over the place! Because like we said, it's the unplanned moments that count, right?? Diddy promising not to swear on stage? Puh-leeze. Get ready to laugh, cry, and probably die a little bit of '90s nostalgia while watching these VMA mash-up videos.
