Finally, we can learn more from Cali Swag District than how to Dougie.

Cali Swag District's "Teach Me How To Dougie" is the latest video to get the "Pop Up Video" treatment, and can we just say... SO GLAD TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS MONUMENTAL CLIP! Knowledge is power... especially when we're learning about Cali Swag District.

Thanks to our brilliant friends over at VH1, we can now confirm that the Dougie actually originated in Texas and was not, contrary to popular belief, created exclusively by Cali Swag District. Also, we learned that The Dougie was an homage to to rapper Doug E. Fresh, who claimed he was "the first rapper to ever dance." (If true, that's a HUGE DEAL.) Our Pop Up pals have also informed us that after the song was released, the Dougie became a full-on celebrity sensation and even mad famous peeps such as Reggie Bush, LeBron James, Wolf Blitzer and MICHELLE OBAMA have all tried their hands at the dance.

There are tons more things we could tell you about this incredible video, but we think you should watch for yourself and TAKE COPIOUS NOTES. You never know when you're gonna need to whip out some Cali Swag District trivia at a fancy party, or whatever.
