Ellie Goulding and Passion Pit will perform at Hangout Music Fest 2013!

There may still be a slight chill in the air (summer, would you just get here already?), but you'd better believe that we're already mapping out our warm-weather music festival plans. That's why we're kicking off this season early at the fourth annual Hangout Music Festival! That's right, my friends: Summer just got here early. Happening over the course of three days (May 17-19), Hangout will host some of our ultra-special favorite bands, including electro-pop songstress Ellie Goulding, indie pop players Passion Pit, everything-core piano-jumpers twenty | one | pilots, and more. AND you'll be able to livestream the entire thing on MTV.com.

Starting this Friday at noon and going all through Sunday night, Hangout will run the entire weekend from Alabama's gorgeous Gulf Shores (look at us trying to sound like a travel catalog!). It will also feature headlining acts like Stevie Wonder (!), Kings Of Leon, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, and so many more. Don't live anywhere near Alabama? Not to worry! We're taking you with us this weekend for endless livestreaming performances, exclusive, up-close-and-personal access to the festival's packed musical lineup, and more pre-summer fun at the beach. Sound good? Now, excuse us while we attempt to dig that dust-covered bathing suit out from under the bed...
