New Politics strip down "Harlem" for their "Buzzworthy Live" acoustic performance.

We knew that Copenhagen pop-rock trio New Politics liked to go all out with their trademark unhinged, shouty, sing-along tracks (see: "Yeah Yeah Yeah" and "Dignity"), but nothing could prepare us for seeing them perform live. And not just live-live -- we're talking about an intimate, personal, one-room acoustic performance of their brand-new track "Harlem"! Yep, just us, three cute Danes, and a rolicking, hand-clappy song all about NYC's upper half. And needless to say, the Europeans-turned-staunch New Yorkers more than lived up to their rowdy reputation.

The lead track from their brand-new A Bad Girl In Harlem album, "Harlem" is an obvious shoe-in for anyone's "Summer In NYC" playlist. "When it gets loud/ I turn it up/ Shake it like a bad girl up in Harlem/ When it's too hot, I light it up," shouts New Politics' frontman, David Boyd, who looks just as Guy Smiley-ish in person as the recorded track would suggest.
