Paramore's just released a brand-new lyric video for "Still Into You."
PUH-RAISE PARAMORE! The rock trio has just released a lyric video for another BRAND-NEW TUNE called "Still Into You" (slated to show up on their forthcoming album). So, to review Paramore's inventory, that's two new songs (and one official "Now" video) that we can play on repeat until the disc drops on April 9. Also, let's take a moment to give a round of applause for whoever invented lyric videos, OK? These things totally make our at-home Karaoke sessions that much better.
Watch Paramore's "Still Into You" lyric video after the jump!
Why is the "Still Into You" lyric vid so great? BECAUSE IT'S GOT SHADOW PUPPETS! A shadow hand (maybe Hayley's?!) "sings": "Can't count the years on one hand that we've been together." Guys, a hand IS singing about a hand -- now that's poetry in motion (not to mention totally #meta). We're also used to seeing a lot of plot-less lyric videos, but "Still Into You" proves that these "floating text in pretty fonts" clips don't necessarily have to be dull (plus, imagine the props budget -- a flashlight, a shadow, and a hand -- that's pretty cheap).
Anyway, please excuse us again while we reiterate how excited we are that there's a new, BEYOND EPIC, and unusually poppy Paramore song in the world. The only thing that could make us happier at this moment is if we spent last night watching Paramore play "Still Into You" at the Warner Sound showcase at SXSW. Because we can only imagine how much more magical that was. Yes, even more magical than shadow puppets.
